Future PP is an outsourced paraplanning business based in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. We partner with financial advisers across a range of licensees, including many award-winning practices. Our work runs from straightforward ROAs to complex SMSF, retirement and lifetime income strategies. We’re known for the quality of our work and for working closely with our advisers.
What you’ll do
- Work with advisers as a strategic partner, not just someone who carries out instructions. Be able to question strategies and develop strong relationships with our advisers.
- Research and compare products efficiently. You’ll quickly recognise when an existing product is fine as it is, and when it’s poor and there’s a better option you already know suits the client.
- Bring it all together in high-quality SOAs and ROAs across a range of complexity levels.
- Keep up with regulatory change, licensee requirements and constantly evolving technology.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years’ paraplanning experience.
- A relevant degree or Diploma of Financial Planning.
- Strong technical knowledge across super, retirement, SMSF and investments. You’ll know the benefits and risks of common strategies like the back of your hand, and how they fit into a plan, without needing hours of research to get there.
- The ability to understand complex strategies and explain them simply and convincingly.
- A tech-focused mindset and a willingness to evolve. We’re a fast-moving business, and our tools and processes change as technology does. You’ll be comfortable with planning software, quick to pick up new systems, and open to changing how you work when there’s a better way.
- Strong experience with Xplan and Microsoft suite.
- Sharp attention to detail, clear communication, the ability to manage several advisers and deadlines, and the discipline to work well remotely.
- Based in South East Queensland, within reach of our Gold Coast office for training and get-togethers.
