Enterprise Sales Development Representative | AI Construction Tech | Remote-first, Australia | $70–85k base + uncapped commission
Think Oracle, NetSuite or Salesforce — for the construction industry.
Our client runs an end-to-end platform that runs the entire operation of a for Tier 1, 2 and 3 AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) firms.
We’re partnering with them to hire their next two SDRs.
Why this seat is different
This role one has you opening six-figure conversations with construction businesses that are still running a $200M project portfolio on spreadsheets and email, or with an incumbent.
That’s an enterprise sale. Multiple stakeholders, real consequences, a genuine displacement of whatever they’re using today. You’ll learn how large, complex deals actually get built — and you’ll learn it in your first year rather than your fifth.
Enterprise-grade, without the enterprise drag
They’re seed-stage. That cuts both ways and you should know which way before you apply.
What you don’t get: layers of approval, a territory carved into a postcode, a manager who needs three meetings to decide anything, or a queue of people ahead of you.
What you do get: the whole of Australia as your patch, direct access to the founders, and the ability to try something on Monday and know by Friday whether it worked.
Their AEs are earning north of $350k.
Who they’re after
One to two years of work behind you, and one of these:
- You’re hitting target right now in a phone-heavy outbound role somewhere else — real estate, insurance, broking, recruitment. You want to take that into tech
- You’ve come from building, construction, estimating or surveying, and you already understand the people you’d be calling
- You’re two or three years into something unrelated and you’re serious about making the jump
They genuinely don’t mind which. The bar is whether you’ll pick up the phone, take the rejection, and pick it up again.
The job
- Own the national patch. No carve-up, no waiting your turn
- Monthly targets that run from qualified conversations through to closed revenue
Where it goes
SDR → Senior SDR at around twelve months → Account Executive.
The package
- Up to $85k base plus uncapped commission, 70/30 split, with accelerators past target
- Remote-first
