Account Executive — Victoria
Enterprise Construction Technology (SaaS) | Remote, Melbourne-based | $140,000–$180,000 base + 15% commission, uncapped
You’ll own Victoria. Tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 builders, end to end — your own territory, your own pipeline, your own number.
Our client is building the operating system for construction: project financials, procurement, subcontractor management, progress claims and document control in one platform. You’re not selling a point solution into a line-item budget. You’re selling a platform decision to CFOs and commercial directors replacing four systems and a filing cabinet. Deals are substantial, cycles run three to four months.
Full cycle, prospecting to close, with an SDR on top-of-funnel and a solutions consultant on technical depth. You report to the founder. Victoria is being carved out as its own patch for the first time, so you’re also shaping how it gets sold.
What you’ll need
- 3+ years closing B2B software, with quota attainment you can quote
- Multi-stakeholder deals — three-month-plus cycles, a real business case. ERP, finance, procurement, workforce management or field services backgrounds translate well
- Credibility with C-suite
- Melbourne-based, and willing to get in front of builders in person
- The self-direction to run a territory with nobody checking your activity
Having sold into construction, engineering or infrastructure helps. So does having opened a territory before. ERP software sellers are a great fit.
Be clear-eyed
Seed-stage. No VP of Sales, no RevOps, no enablement, and no brand doing half the work on a cold call. You build the territory plan and the sequences yourself. For the right person that’s the whole appeal — nothing between you and executing.
What it’s worth
$140,000–$180,000 base, 15% commission, uncapped. Realistic OTE around $350,000, and the ceiling is real — one of the current team went SDR to AE in four months and is tracking to $350,000.
Message me for a confidential conversation. Happy to share the client name and the territory numbers once we’ve spoken.
