Never Miss a Delivery Again: Ring Intercom Launches in Australia for Smart Apartment Access

Ring has launched Ring Intercom in Australia, a smart solution that lets apartment residents see, speak to, and grant access to visitors from anywhere using the Ring App. This addresses a common frustration: 79% of Australians in apartments find waiting for deliveries stressful when not home, and 89% want remote access for delivery drivers.

Never Miss a Delivery Again

Missed deliveries are a major issue. Amazon research shows:

• 76% missed at least one parcel in their last 10 deliveries
• 58% stayed home from work or adjusted their day to receive a parcel
• 87% relied on someone else to collect a delivery
• 26% spent 30+ minutes recovering missed deliveries

Ring Intercom solves this by letting you visually verify visitors and remotely unlock the building entrance. You can also provide temporary, automated access for Amazon delivery drivers.

Enhanced Visibility and Visitor Management

Features include Visitor Snapshot (automatic images when intercom is activated) and up to 180 days of video history for a visual record of visitors and deliveries. Quick Replies let you respond with pre-recorded messages when unavailable.

Additional Features with Ring Protect

In-app calls and Quick Replies are standard. Ring Protect plans (from AU$4.95/month) unlock Video History, Visitor Snapshot, and Voicemail.

Designed for Renters

DIY installation takes under 45 minutes without structural modifications, suitable for renters and homeowners.

Pricing and Availability

Ring Intercom is available in Australia for AU$189.
