Someone has to make the assumptions and the arithmetic hold across decades, and that someone is you.
As an Actuary you'll evaluate AI-built risk models and pricing, check the assumptions and the methods, and write the judgments that teach models what actuarial rigor demands.
What you’ll actually do
- Evaluate AI actuarial work : reserving, pricing, and the assumptions driving each.
- Check the methods : development factors, mortality and morbidity tables, discounting, and stochastic modeling.
- Write the sound analysis when the model falls short, with assumptions documented and defensible.
Common backgrounds: Actuary, Actuarial Analyst, Pricing Actuary.
What we look for
- Actuarial experience or exam progress across life, health, P&C, or pensions.
- Fluency with probability, statistics, and actuarial methods.
- Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
- No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.
Up to $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $100k–$200k a year; some make it their full-time income.
