This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. What You'll Do
- Evaluate and establish governance standards that ensure hospital health records are accurate, consistent, and secure
- Work across clinical, IT, compliance, and leadership functions to align data policies and workflows
- Identify gaps in data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance and recommend clear remediation paths
- Enable governed, high-quality health data to support patient care, reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making
- Apply your domain expertise to help AI systems better understand the nuances of clinical and operational health data
- Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Experienced in healthcare data governance, data management, or clinical data operations
- Deep understanding of healthcare privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks — including HIPAA
- Skilled at working cross-functionally with clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders
- Naturally detail-oriented and systematic — you don't let data inconsistencies slide
- Strong written communicator who can translate complex governance concepts into clear, actionable guidance
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without close supervision
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with EHR platforms, clinical data warehouses, or health information exchanges
- Background in health informatics, clinical coding, or medical records management
- Exposure to AI tools or data labeling workflows
