Hospital Health Data Governance Lead (AI Training)About The Role What if your expertise in healthcare data governance could directly shape how AI understands and works with clinical and operational health information? We're looking for experienced Hospital Health Data Governance Leads to help ensure that health data used in AI model training is accurate, trusted, compliant, and ready for real-world clinical and analytical use. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for seasoned healthcare data professionals who know how hospitals run, what makes health data trustworthy, and how governance frameworks protect patients and institutions alike.

What You'll Do
- Define and apply governance standards that ensure hospital health records are accurate, consistent, and secure
- Work across clinical, IT, compliance, and operational domains to align data policies and workflows
- Evaluate and improve the quality, structure, and reliability of health data used in AI training and evaluation
- Identify data integrity issues, gaps in compliance, and risks to data trustworthiness
- Enable high-quality, governed data to support patient care, regulatory reporting, analytics, and operational improvement
- Provide structured expert feedback on healthcare data quality and governance practices
- Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Experienced in healthcare data governance, data management, or clinical data operations
- Strong command of healthcare privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks — including HIPAA
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders
- Systematic and detail-oriented — you notice when data doesn't add up and know how to fix it
- Able to communicate governance requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation systems
- Background in health informatics, clinical documentation, or hospital operations
- Familiarity with EHR platforms, data warehouses, or clinical analytics environments
- Experience working with AI tools or participating in data labeling and training pipelines
