Senior User Interface Designer

We're working with a fast-growing startup that’s redefining how people connect and communicate and it’s already attracting some of the best in the industry. Backed by seasoned leadership and strong investor support, this company is building a cutting-edge communications platform, and they’re scaling a high-impact design team to match. They’re now hiring a Senior UI Design Expert to lead end-to-end visual design across mobile and desktop.

This is a full-time, remote opportunity open to candidates based in Australia or New Zealand. Due to sensitive customer requirements, Australian or New Zealand citizenship is essential.

What you'll be doing:

• Co-leading UI design strategy across iOS, Android, and web
• Designing intuitive, high-performance interfaces for messaging, video, and collaboration tools
• Driving innovation in micro-interactions and animation
• Building and maintaining a unified design system
• Rapidly prototyping and testing design concepts
• Mentoring junior designers and elevating design standards across the team

The ideal candidate brings:

• A portfolio that showcases exceptional design for communication platforms
• Deep expertise in mobile and responsive web design
• Advanced Figma and visual design skills
• A strong grasp of accessibility, user behaviour, and real-time interface performance
• A strategic mindset, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and collaboration
