Graphic and Web Designer

We're Hiring: Graphic and Web DesignerLocation: Remote (Australia-based)

Our platform powers digital school newsletters, websites, mobile apps, event management, and more. We give schools the tools they need to connect with their communities. 

We're a remote-first company with flexible working options and a collaborative team culture. We’re looking for a creative and technically skilled Graphic and Web Designer to join us on a part-time basis. The role will start at three days per week, but we’re flexible on how those hours are worked and can adjust the schedule to fit your needs. 

This role involves direct communication with our advertising clients and school stakeholders. You'll be comfortable managing design feedback, clarifying briefs, and providing updates via phone and email, always with a professional and customer-focused approach. 

What you'll be doing

• Designing digital ads and sponsor artwork for school eNewsletters 
• Creating visual assets for websites, email campaigns, and social media 
• Building and updating websites using our custom CMS and WordPress 
• Ensuring everything looks great, functions well, and meets accessibility standards 
• Managing stakeholder communication and providing design updates directly to customers 
• Collaborating with the Customer Success and Marketing teams to bring ideas to life 

What you'll need

• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) 
• Experience designing for digital platforms such as websites, email, and social media 
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, responsive design, and accessibility 
• Experience with WordPress and other content management systems 
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities 
• Confident verbal and written communication skills for liaising directly with clients 

Nice to have

• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge 
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) design 
• Experience working in education, publishing, or digital media
