Role Summary

As a Video Editor at Swan Studio, you’ll collaborate closely with creative strategists, designers, and producers to craft high-performing social ads. From TikToks to Meta performance creatives, you’ll turn raw footage and briefs into compelling edits that convert.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce engaging direct response video content for paid social platforms (primarily Meta and TikTok)
  • Work with creative strategists and designers to translate briefs into high-performing edits
  • Cut both short-form and mid-length social videos with a focus on pacing, clarity, and conversion impact
  • Optimise content for platform best practices and trends while ensuring brand alignment
  • Iterate quickly based on performance data and feedback

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience editing digital or advertising video content, with a portfolio that demonstrates performance-driven creative
  • Strong understanding of Meta and TikTok ad formats, visual trends, and what makes an ad convert
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects knowledge a plus), with working familiarity of motion graphics workflows
  • Experience editing for both UGC-style and polished branded content
  • Ability to work quickly, independently, and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong storytelling instincts
  • Strong communication skills and openness to constructive feedback
  • Bonus: experience with animation, audio editing, or AI-powered editing workflows
