Role DescriptionThe Research Analyst is responsible for conducting structured research, analyzing data, and generating actionable insights to support strategic decision-making across business, financial, market, or operational domains. This role transforms complex datasets and information sources into clear, evidence-based findings that guide planning, forecasting, and performance improvement.Key responsibilities include collecting, organizing, and validating data from multiple sources such as industry reports, databases, surveys, financial statements, and public information. The role performs quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify trends, correlations, patterns, and anomalies relevant to research objectives.The position prepares research reports, summaries, dashboards, and presentations that communicate findings in a clear, structured, and decision-ready format. It may also support forecasting, benchmarking, market sizing, risk analysis, or performance evaluation depending on the research focus.The role collaborates with stakeholders such as business leaders, product teams, finance teams, or strategy departments to define research objectives, refine methodologies, and ensure insights align with organizational needs. It also contributes to improving data quality, research processes, and analytical frameworks.Continuous monitoring of relevant industry trends, economic developments, and emerging data sources is expected to ensure research outputs remain accurate, timely, and actionable.QualificationsStrong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and extract meaningful insights. Ability to structure research problems and apply appropriate analytical methods.Proficiency in spreadsheet tools, data analysis software, and reporting tools. Familiarity with data visualization platforms and statistical methods is an advantage.Knowledge of research methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative approaches, survey design, and data validation techniques.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely for both technical and non-technical audiences.High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple research tasks while meeting deadlines in a structured and fast-paced environment.
