We're looking for Mathematics Specialists with advanced degrees to help build and refine the mathematical reasoning capabilities of cutting-edge AI models. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for Masters and PhD-level mathematicians who want to do meaningful, intellectually stimulating work — on their own schedule.

What You'll Do

• Develop, solve, and critically review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance
• Apply deep expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related fields to design rigorous, complex problem sets
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to strengthen AI model reasoning and mathematical understanding
• Ensure mathematical accuracy, clarity, and depth across all deliverables
• Evaluate and improve AI-generated mathematical content using your domain expertise

Who You Are

• Hold a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
• Deeply proficient in one or more of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
• Experienced coding in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or applied projects
• Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment
• Based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in academic research, technical writing, or mathematical education
• Familiarity with AI tools or large language model evaluation
