At GCG Headquarters, the General Manager of People & Culture leads GCG’s people function, overseeing workforce planning, recruitment, community engagement and alumni relations while supporting effective structures and collaboration across Headquarters and branches.

In this role, you will
- Lead P&C Team: Manage the team to coordinate organisation-wide people initiatives.
- Oversee Recruitment & Workforce Planning: Support staffing, onboarding, succession planning and workforce needs across GCG.
- Build Community: Oversee social and engagement initiatives that strengthen connection across GCG’s remote workforce.
- Manage Alumni Engagement: Maintain relationships with GCG alumni and support ongoing communication and involvement.
- Support Branches & Partner with Leadership: Work with the C-Suite, branch leaders and other teams to review structures, improve people processes and support organisation-wide priorities.
To be a successful candidate, you will
- Be able to contribute 3-6 hours per week.
- Have 3+ years of HR/P&C experience, ideally in an organisation with 50+ members.
- Have experience managing projects and leading a team.
- Be proactive, autonomous and highly motivated.
- Have strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
- Be committed to excellence, development and GCG’s values.
- HR, Psychology or related background and previous not-for-profit experience desirable but not essential
