Accountabilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across the People & Culture function, helping ensure HR processes run accurately and efficiently.
- Support recruitment activities by posting job advertisements, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and maintaining accurate applicant tracking records.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction activities for new employees, ensuring relevant documentation and processes are completed efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information and HR records while handling confidential information with appropriate discretion.
- Coordinate with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure employee information and payroll-related updates are communicated accurately and on time.
- Compile HR metrics and prepare regular reports to support workforce management and People & Culture decision-making.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and contribute to HR projects and process improvements.
- Respond to employee and manager queries professionally and help direct more complex matters to the appropriate HR stakeholders.
- Build effective working relationships with the People & Culture team, Payroll and Finance teams, employees, line managers, and external HR and recruitment providers.
- Support the continuous improvement of HR administration processes in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Certificate or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 13+ years of experience in a similar HR administration, HR support, or People & Culture role.
- Familiarity with HR information systems and other tools used to manage employee and recruitment information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong general administrative capabilities.
- Understanding of employment legislation and Australian HR processes is desirable, although not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately.
- Professional, approachable, and clear communication style when interacting with employees, managers, candidates, and external providers.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly and with discretion.
- Proactive and resourceful approach, with the ability to identify what needs to be done and take ownership of tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
