We’re looking for a Communications Lead to bring our work to life—shaping how we communicate with industry, stakeholders and the broader community.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be the engine behind FSO’s voice—ensuring our messaging is clear, consistent and impactful across all channels.
In this hands-on role, you will:
- Develop and deliver clear, compelling messaging aligned to organisational priorities
- Create engaging content across multiple formats (articles, case studies, video, op-eds)
- Manage communications across channels including newsletters, email, website, media and social
- Support campaigns, events and key initiatives with strong storytelling
- Engage stakeholders to gather insights and strengthen relationships
- Partner with internal teams to translate complex work into accessible content
- Contribute to a consistent, high-quality communications approach across the organisation
Your work will ensure FSO’s message is not only heard—but understood and valued across the sectors we serve.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in communications, content or marketing roles
- Exceptional writing skills and the ability to simplify complex information
- Experience delivering communications across multiple channels and audiences
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with creative thinking skills
- Experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe, WordPress or analytics platforms
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, remote environment
Even Better:
- Exposure to the VET sector or government-funded initiatives and industry experience in Finance, Business or Tech would be highly regarded
- Experience with CRM or project tools (e.g. HubSpot, Asana)
- Familiarity with AI tools to enhance communication delivery
