Role Overview

Experienced Accounting and Audit professionals are sought to support high-impact projects in collaboration with leading AI labs and research organizations. In this role, you’ll apply your accounting and audit expertise to evaluate, refine, and verify AI-generated outputs across financial reporting, compliance, audit practices, and risk assessment.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage professional accounting skills to shape the next generation of intelligent systems for finance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine AI-generated accounting analyses, audit reports, and financial statements.
• Validate outputs against GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory standards.
• Provide structured feedback on clarity, accuracy, and adherence to accounting principles.
• Tag and organize outputs by accounting topic, sector, and complexity.
• Contribute to benchmarking efforts evaluating AI performance in financial domains.

Ideal Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional accounting experience, ideally within top-tier public accounting firms (Big Four), Fortune 500 finance teams, or specialized domains such as government, nonprofit/fund, forensic, or cross-border accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degrees (Master’s, MBA) are a plus.
• Recognized certifications (CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA) are highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other reporting/regulatory frameworks.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, month-end close, reconciliations, consolidations, lease accounting, revenue recognition, and internal controls.
• Experience in specialized areas such as forensic accounting, government/public sector, nonprofit/fund reporting, or international/cross-border accounting.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Project Timeline

• Commitment: Part-time, 15–25 hours/week (flexible up to 40 hours/week)
• Schedule: Fully remote, asynchronous, flexible working hours

Compensation & Contract

• Rate: $40–$120/hour, depending on experience and location
