Clinical Business Intelligence Manager (AI Training)About The Role What if your expertise in clinical analytics and business intelligence could directly shape how AI understands and reasons about healthcare data? We're looking for an experienced Clinical Business Intelligence Manager to lead analytics initiatives that connect clinical, operational, and performance data — and to help train the next generation of AI models to think like a healthcare data expert. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for senior healthcare analytics professionals who want to apply their domain knowledge to cutting-edge AI projects alongside world-leading research teams.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a business intelligence team in designing and delivering dashboards, reports, and analytics that support clinical and operational decision-making
  • Maintain and optimize BI infrastructure — including data models, SQL queries, and reporting pipelines — ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance at scale
  • Analyze clinical, operational, and performance data to surface meaningful trends, inform leadership decisions, and drive improvements in care delivery and organizational efficiency
  • Translate complex healthcare datasets into trusted, actionable insights for both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
  • Contribute your domain expertise to AI training workflows — helping models better understand how healthcare analytics professionals think, evaluate, and decide
  • Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Deep experience in healthcare or clinical analytics, business intelligence, or health data management
  • Proven ability to design, build, and manage BI systems — including dashboards, reporting pipelines, and enterprise data models
  • Hands-on experience working with clinical, operational, and administrative datasets in regulated healthcare environments
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with leading BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
  • Comfortable leading or mentoring analytics teams and communicating complex findings clearly to diverse audiences
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and rigorous in your approach to data quality and insight accuracy

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality frameworks, or AI evaluation systems
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, claims data, or population health analytics
  • Background in healthcare informatics, clinical data governance, or outcomes research
  • Experience contributing to AI training, RLHF workflows, or model evaluation projects

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and AI teams
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, high-impact project work
  • Bring your clinical data expertise to a domain where it genuinely matters — shaping how AI understands healthcare
  • Exposure to advanced large language models and the processes that train them
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
