💼 The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, data analysis, and business performance activities. This role provides an opportunity to develop strong financial and analytical skills in a collaborative environment.
🔑 Key Responsibilities- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Collect, organize, and analyze financial and business data.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Prepare financial models, reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Conduct variance analysis and investigate differences between actual and budgeted results.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, margins, and key financial indicators.
- Assist with cash-flow and profitability analysis.
- Support financial planning and business-performance reviews.
- Maintain accurate financial records, spreadsheets, and documentation.
- Work with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Sales, and other teams.
- Research financial trends and business performance indicators.
- Identify data inconsistencies and assist with resolving reporting issues.
- Provide analytical insights to support business decisions.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and improvement projects.
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
- Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with financial reporting or business intelligence tools is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of financial modelling and data analysis.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
