The role

We're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to grow our client portfolio and position 52nd Solution as the go-to custom software partner across key industry verticals. You'll own the full sales cycle — from prospecting to close — and play a pivotal role in shaping how we take our services to market.

What you'll do

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across target verticals through outbound prospecting, LinkedIn, referrals, and industry events
  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers, business owners, and IT stakeholders
  • Lead discovery conversations and translate business pain points into compelling software solution proposals
  • Collaborate with our technical team to scope engagements, draft proposals, and respond to RFPs/tenders
  • Manage your pipeline in CRM — tracking leads, activities, and forecast
  • Negotiate and close project agreements, then facilitate warm handoff to the delivery team
  • Develop account expansion opportunities — upselling ongoing retainers, support, and enhancements
  • Represent 52nd Solution at industry events, networking functions, and partner engagements

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years in B2B business development, technology sales, or IT services sales
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to non-technical buyers
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and a clear performance target
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Existing network in one or more of our target verticals is a strong advantage

Bonus points

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, or the broader Microsoft ecosystem,
  • Experience selling custom software, automation, or integration projects,
  • Understanding of business process improvement concepts.
