Freelance Video Editor

An American company specializing in online training for psychologists is seeking a full-time, remote Video Editor with strong English language skills. The role involves editing educational video content based on briefs, selecting appropriate music, visuals, and text, and creating video covers for both the website and YouTube. The editor will also be responsible for optimizing videos for various platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Additional tasks include working with AI tools, developing detailed scripts in Word, uploading content to Google Drive, and assisting with basic web and presentation design as needed. The role offers 40 hours of remote work per week with regular evening Zoom meetings (Moscow time), paid vacation, and opportunities for growth into a departmental leadership role.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in photo and video editing
• Strong English skills with an excellent understanding of English and American speech
• Ability to produce 15–25 videos per month
• Proficiency in video editing software and familiarity with AI video tools
• Experience creating video covers, selecting music and visuals, and developing scripts
• Portfolio showcasing previous video editing work
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
• Willingness to learn daily, especially regarding AI automation in video production
• Unrestricted access to all major social media platforms
• Availability for remote work of 40 hours per week
• Attendance at regular evening Zoom meetings (Moscow time)
• Basic design skills for websites and PowerPoint presentations are a plus
