Salary: Volunteer

Hours: Minimum fifteen (15) hours weekly

Contract: Minimum twelve-month commitment

The Role


We’re looking for a motivated, enthusiastic events coordinator with a passion for sustainability to work with our friendly, dynamic team to inspire people around the world to make a better future.

As part of THRIVE, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Champion new initiatives.

  • Help shape our thrivability efforts.

  • Present ideas to people from a variety of disciplines. 

Your efforts will enrich our events and help inspire people to create a thrivable future.


Key/Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events, including conferences, webinars, podcast, and other online events.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure event objectives are met.
  • Develop event timelines, schedules, and agendas to ensure smooth execution.
  • Oversee event operations, handling any issues that arise during the event.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and reports to assess event success and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain relationships with speakers, sponsors, and operational team for future collaborations.
  • Stay updated with event trends and best practices for innovative event planning.
  • A desire to make a sustainable world and better future for all.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Events Management, or other relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of commercial experience in an event management role, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to run online events.


Preferred Requirements

  • Fluency in English (preferred).
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • The ability to be proactive and self-manage your time.
  • A self-driven mindset to make a better future for all.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills. 
  • Well-developed problem-solving abilities.
