About Us

At The Good Numbers, we do accounting differently. We use smart tech to make compliance easy, so we can spend more time building real relationships with our clients. We’re a judgment-free zone – some clients come to us with messy books, but if they’re genuinely keen to understand their numbers and grow, we’re all in.

We’re a small but growing practice, and we’re looking for a motivated accountant with up to 2 years’ experience to join our team and grow with us.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing financial statements & tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts
• Assisting with SMSF administration
• Supporting Virtual CFO services
• Solving puzzles (aka untangling tricky client problems)
• Paying attention to the little details that make a big difference

What We’re Looking For

• 0–2 years of public practice accounting experience
• Comfortable working with cloud accounting software (Xero experience is a bonus)
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Someone who enjoys working independently but is happy to collaborate online with the team
