Business Development Manager Pure Resources Limited (ASX: PR1)

Location: Australia wide (location flexible for the right candidate) 

Reports to: Interim Chief Executive Officer

Part time fixed term, 12 month contract with a 6 month probation period 

Remuneration: Competitive base salary plus performance incentives and equity participation

Pure Resources Limited (ASX: PR1) is an ASX-listed advanced materials and critical minerals company pursuing an integrated mine-to-market strategy — from 100% ownership of an upstream graphite and garnet asset in Western Australia, through a US DoE Strategic Partnership for heavy rare earths, to a funded downstream R&D collaboration with Rice University (Houston) in high-performance Carbon Nanotube Fibre (CNTF) technology, deepening relationships across United States and allied markets, and unlocking value for shareholders through disciplined execution of our defence strategy.

The Opportunity

This is not a process driven role inside a large corporate. It is a high autonomy, founder mode position directly with the CEO and Advisory Board to accelerate Pure Resources across every commercial and capital markets dimension that matters to the Company and its shareholders.

We are looking for an absolute weapon. A genuine operator who knows how to open doors, build pipelines, run campaigns, and convert relationships into outcomes. You will be measured on the calibre of the introductions you make, the capital you help attract, the agreements you originate, and the visibility you build for the Company in the market.

What You Will Do

  • Drive Pure Resources investor engagement across institutional, family office, broker, sophisticated, and high net worth audiences both domestically and offshore.
  • Originate and manage commercial relationships with potential end users across the thermal management, abrasives, and rare earth supply chain markets.
  • Engage with Federal and State government agencies, critical minerals programs, and trade and investment bodies to position Pure for grant funding, offtake, and strategic capital opportunities.
  • Design and execute marketing and promotional campaigns across LinkedIn, X, investor research platforms, podcasts, conferences, and broker roadshows.
  • Coordinate non deal roadshows, site visits, and investor briefings alongside the CEO and Advisory Board.
  • Build the Company brand and media footprint as a leading emerging name in critical minerals and thermal management.
  • Work hand in glove with management on strategic initiatives, partnerships, and potential corporate transactions.

Who You Are

  • Working knowledge of the ASX, listed company continuous disclosure obligations, and the operating rhythm of small to mid cap capital markets.
  • A live and warm network. Brokers, fund managers, family offices, high net worth investors, sophisticated investors, and corporate advisers take your call (preferred)
  • A track record of building and running promotional and digital marketing programs that have measurably moved the dial for ASX listed companies, whether through LinkedIn, X, EDM platforms, investor research portals, or broker syndication. (preferred)
  • Comfortable organising meetings for the CEO across investors (institutions and HNW) to government department (both Australia and USA).
  • Strong commercial understanding of, or the ability to rapidly absorb, the drivers of critical minerals, thermal management technologies, abrasives, and rare earths (preferred not essential)
  • The temperament for an emerging company environment. You move quickly, take ownership, and do not wait to be asked.
