AI Creative Strategist & Designer
No Boring Content · Freelance · Remote · Australia or USA based
Flexible hours, with workload based on current client demand.
Can you look at a winning ad and see what to make next?
A UGC video is converting. A particular hook keeps working. The same customer problem shows up across the strongest ads in an account.
Can you spot that pattern, understand why it might matter, and turn it into a new static ad, an overlay for B-roll, or an AI motion concept worth testing?
That’s the role.
We’re looking for someone with strong performance creative experience, excellent design judgment, and an established AI production workflow. Someone who can read the data, develop a creative hypothesis, and make the ads.
How we work
No Boring Content produces performance ad creative for DTC brands, primarily in health, wellness and ecommerce.
We test UGC at volume, then explore how successful hooks, messages, visual treatments and other creative elements can work in different formats.
We’ve also built Hypecrowd, our creative intelligence platform. It analyses brand ad account data and creative to help us identify patterns associated with stronger performance. Our team already uses those insights to inform new video ads.
You’ll help turn those insights into:
- Static overlays for B-roll videos: headlines, benefit callouts, proof points and visual treatments that strengthen the message.
- Standalone static ads: concepts built around promising angles, offers and creative patterns.
- AI animation and motion graphic ads: new ways to bring those ideas to life and expand what we can test.
- You’ll work closely with our strategists and editors, with real ownership over what you make and why.
What you’ll actually do:
Find the opportunity.
Explore account performance, Hypecrowd insights and existing ads. Identify creative patterns worth developing and explain what you would test next. You should be comfortable arriving with an idea before anyone hands you a brief.
Turn an insight into an ad.
Decide which part of a winning creative is worth carrying forward, which format suits it, and how the message needs to change. A successful UGC hook might become a strong static headline, but it still needs a visual idea, hierarchy and persuasive execution.
Produce through AI workflows.
Our current stack includes Claude Design, Nano Banana and ElevenLabs. You should already use AI tools regularly and understand the wider landscape well enough to choose useful tools, connect them into repeatable workflows and improve the process as capabilities evolve.
Build for volume.
Our team produces 50–100 ad assets per client each month. We need reusable templates, clear variation systems and organised production workflows that make that pace sustainable.
Own the detail.
Check typography, spelling, product accuracy, brand consistency, readability, placement requirements and file versions. Fast output only helps if the work is ready to run.
Learn from what ships.
Review results with the team and use them to shape the next round. Be able to distinguish a useful signal from a result that needs more evidence.
What you need to bring:
- Strong experience making performance creative for Meta. You understand direct response, DTC customer journeys, hooks, offers, objections and visual persuasion.
- Confidence reading creative performance data. You understand metrics such as CTR, CPA, ROAS and video attention metrics, and can explain how they influence your next creative decision.
- The ability to think and execute. You can identify an opportunity, develop the concept and produce the assets yourself.
- Excellent design judgment. You know when an AI output is weak, can explain why, and know how to improve it.
- Practical experience with high-volume AI production. You have a repeatable process for generating, refining, checking and managing multiple concepts and variations.
- Curiosity about AI animation and motion. You’re actively exploring how these tools can produce useful ad creative.
- Independence and attention to detail. You can manage flexible freelance work, communicate clearly and collaborate remotely with an Australia-based team.
Performance creative experience is essential. Please show us how your work connects to advertising outcomes, alongside the visuals.
