Program Manager – Social Impact Programs (12-Month Contract)

• Location: Fully Remote (Australia – NSW preferred)
• Contract Length: 12 Months
• Hours: 38 hours per week
• Start Date: September 2026
• Time Zone Requirements: Ability to collaborate with teams across Australia, US (PST), and India, including occasional early morning or evening meetings

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Program Manager to join the Social Impact team on a 12-month contract. This role will lead and support a portfolio of programs designed to help nonprofit and social impact organisations maximise the value of technology, improve collaboration, and achieve measurable outcomes.

The successful candidate will manage multiple strategic programs, oversee stakeholder engagement, coordinate cross-functional teams, track program performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with internal teams, external partners, volunteers, and nonprofit customers, you will play a critical role in delivering impactful solutions that create lasting value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage skilled volunteering and customer enablement programs
• Oversee discounted technology access initiatives for nonprofits, educators, and academic institutions
• Coordinate partner-led implementation and adoption programs
• Manage program budgets, timelines, reporting, and success metrics
• Conduct impact measurement activities including surveys, data analysis, interviews, and reporting
• Drive continuous improvement projects across social impact programs
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, volunteers, and external partners
• Support webinars, enablement campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives
• Ensure high-quality program delivery and positive customer experiences

Skills & ExperienceEssential

• 5+ years' experience in Program Management (3+ years considered for exceptional candidates)
• Experience within both the technology and social impact/nonprofit sectors
• Strong understanding of nonprofit organisations and their operational challenges
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Strong analytical, reporting, and project delivery capabilities
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

Highly Desirable

• Hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud products and agile ways of working
• Experience working alongside Sales, Customer Success, Product, or Engineering teams
• Knowledge of technology implementation within nonprofit organisations
