Client Success Lead (Remote)

Clever Conversions is a specialist Shopify agency helping ambitious D2C brands grow, from design and development through to ongoing optimisation.

We are looking for a Client Success Lead to own a portfolio of client relationships, balancing hands-on project management with the strategy that keeps clients growing.

You’ll be the partner clients rely on, working closely with our design and development leads to turn strategy into results.

What you'll do

• Own a portfolio of client accounts end-to-end, balancing day-to-day delivery with longer-term growth strategy.
• Act as the primary point of contact, setting expectations and keeping clients confident in the work.
• Manage timelines, milestones, budgets and scope across concurrent projects and retainers.
• Guide each client’s growth strategy across design, development and optimisation, prioritising initiatives that improve conversion, AOV, retention and revenue.
• Champion new ways of working, including AI-assisted tools, to deliver better outcomes faster.

What we're looking for

• At least two years’ experience in an agency environment working on eCommerce website projects.
• A strong working knowledge of Shopify and its broader ecosystem.
• Confidence managing multiple projects and priorities while remaining organised, proactive and calm under pressure.
• A strong interest in UX, CRO and design principles.
• The ability to interpret data and turn it into clear recommendations and priorities.
• Curiosity about AI, emerging technology and better ways of working.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with sharp attention to detail.
• A commercial mindset and genuine interest in helping clients grow.
