Job Description
Posted on: October 1, 2025
Marketing Coordinator
This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven and hands-on individual to join our team at Your Podiatrist Brisbane. This role is remote, with company headquarters in Brisbane, Queensland.
As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing our marketing system from the ground up while coordinating, planning, and executing marketing campaigns across multiple media channels.
You will establish a collaborative working relationship with the business owner, who will work with you on strategic and big-picture goals while taking charge of tactical implementation and execution.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a team member who thrives in a collaborative results-driven environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, highly organized, and committed to clear, timely communication
Perks of The Job
- This is a completely remote position, so you’ll have the ability to create your own schedule as long as you’re available to collaborate and attend meetings during Australian Eastern Time business hours
- Strengthen management and marketing experience
- This role starts at 10 hours per week with the potential for full-time after an initial period
Hourly expectation of $50 AUSD/hour
Key Qualities:
- Strong communication skills and responsiveness
- Ability to adapt to in-house workflows (no cookie-cutter solutions)
- Highly organized
- Reliable, accountable, and proactive in addressing challenges
What You Can Expect
- Structured onboarding with clear SOPs, defined communication timelines, and expectations
- Example: a 48-hour “on-call” window immediately following campaign launches to ensure responsiveness
- Hands-on oversight at the start–micromanagement until trust and consistency are established–followed by greater autonomy once performance is proven
Non-Negotiables:
- Copywriting. You’ll be crafting direct marketing campaigns across email, direct mail, web and social media. Your written skills need to be excellent, and we will expect to see samples of your previous work
- Being tech-savvy. While we don’t expect you to know all of the tools we use, we do expect you to be comfortable with them and able to pick up the concepts. Your daily tools of the trade will be CRM systems, content management systems, email marketing, etc
- Leadership potential. Initially, you’ll be our only in-house marketing person, but as you hit goals, we fully expect this role to morph into a marketing team leader role where you will manage a team. Reliability and follow-through on commitments are essential
- Project management. You’ve had extensive experience in project management. A large part of this role is creating and adhering to deadlines. Must be consistently prepared and accountable–no excuses for lack of readiness
- Being teachable and coachable. There is no place here for know-it-alls. We hire based primarily on attitude. Must have confidence and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks
- Being a self-starter. Goals will be clearly defined from the outset. Often, it will be your job to determine what needs to happen, when, and how. The attitude of continually starting things on your own and being results oriented is very important
- Conflict of interest policy. Team members may not engage with direct competition
- Confidentiality & intellectual property agreement. NDA and IP protections are included in onboarding, with a non-compete clause where applicable
Skills Needed/Day-to-Day Tasks and Responsibilities
- Managing the company's website, including updating content, ensuring website functionality, and improving website performance
- Developing and executing email marketing campaigns and managing a CRM management: Write, schedule, and manage emails, automations, and workflows. Build out email marketing campaigns, sequences, and newsletters.
- Optimize marketing systems and processes from top-of-funnel awareness through to customer acquisition. Optimize the customer experience and increase customer lifetime value.
- Graphic design and developing marketing materials: Designing lead magnets, resources, content, brochures, and landing pages
