Accountant Manager

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant Manager to oversee accounting operations in a flexible, part-time remote role. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and actionable insights for business decisions. • Design, implement, and maintain the Chart of Accounts (CoA) to ensure clear classification and organization.
• Prepare and reconcile trial balances regularly, ensuring all accounts are accurate and up to date.
• Develop comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Produce detailed Profit & Loss (P&L) statements with variance analysis to inform business decisions.
• Perform manual journal entries, account reconciliations, and validate financial data for completeness and accuracy.
• Implement and manage accounting systems while maintaining expertise in manual accounting methods.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Requirements The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, analytical skills, and experience with financial reporting systems:

• Proven experience in building and managing Chart of Accounts.
• Expertise in preparing financial statements, trial balances, and P&L reports (manual and software-based).
• Proficiency with accounting systems such as ERP, QuickBooks, Odoo, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Strong manual accounting knowledge and skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• CPA or equivalent accounting certification.
• Experience with multiple accounting software platforms.
• Background in financial analysis and reporting.
• Previous part-time or freelance accounting experience.
