Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Singapore. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights that support strategic business decisions. You will work closely with senior finance teams to monitor financial performance, optimize financial processes, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to assess financial performance. Provide insights into trends and variances.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment between financial projections and business goals.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key financial metrics, variances, and performance indicators.
- Cost Analysis & Optimization: Conduct cost analysis to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Provide recommendations to optimize spending and improve profitability.
- Risk Assessment: Identify financial risks and assist in developing strategies to mitigate these risks. Monitor compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Data Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making, including forecasting models, valuation models, and scenario analysis.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by senior management or business units.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales, marketing) to gather necessary data, provide financial insights, and ensure alignment on financial goals.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role. Fresh graduates with relevant internships or academic experience are also welcome to apply.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
- Familiarity with financial software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and financial reporting practices.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling financial data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problems, think critically, and offer practical solutions to improve financial processes and performance.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or other relevant financial certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Data Visualization Tools: Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for financial reporting and dashboard creation.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in [specific industry – e.g., technology, retail, finance] is beneficial but not required.
