Meta Ads Marketing Specialist

J-Digital Co is looking for a full-time Meta Ads Marketing Specialist to join our team. We are seeking a committed professional who can hit the ground running while continuing to grow and develop their expertise with us.

Key info:

  • Location: Remote position (must be based in Australia and a citizen or permanent resident with the right to work)
  • Base salary $60k (Junior)-$85k (Senior) per year plus super, negotiable based on experience
  • Business hours are 8am to 5pm Perth time

We are a rapidly growing Digital Marketing firm working primarily with Australian trade business clients. On the paid social side, we run Meta Ads campaigns for local trade businesses across Australia.

The Role

This is a full-time position open to candidates who have a strong foundation in Meta Ads. Whether you're early in your career or bringing years of experience, you'll receive ongoing training in advanced Meta Ads management, campaign optimisation strategies, and client communication while being trusted with meaningful responsibilities from day one.

The role is entirely remote, meaning you can work from anywhere in Australia. Our business hours for workplace communication are 8am to 5pm Perth time (GMT +8).

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned clients, owning the relationship end-to-end from onboarding through to ongoing communication, reporting, and strategy discussions
  • Lead all client meetings with confidence, presenting performance insights, strategic recommendations, and campaign direction in a clear and professional manner
  • Take full ownership of client Meta Ads accounts following our established processes, you are the accountable person for your accounts, not just an executor
  • Develop campaign angles and write compelling ad copy that speaks directly to the target audience and drives measurable results
  • Brief and collaborate with our designers and video editors to bring creative concepts to life, translating your strategic thinking into high-performing visual and video assets
  • Manage and optimise Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Ads campaigns for Australian local businesses, monitoring performance of individual ad sets, audiences, and creatives against KPIs and implementing strategic adjustments
  • Lead the creation of comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for clients, clearly communicating results and next steps
  • Develop and implement campaign creation, optimisation, and performance tracking from the ground up
  • Utilise Meta Business Suite, Meta Pixel, and GHL CRM systems to enhance campaign performance and track direct response leads.
  • Collaborate with our wider team on high level strategy and campaign improvements
  • Take responsibility as a key team member for driving account performance and client satisfaction, when your clients win, you win

What We're Looking For

  • Meta Ads experience OR closely transferable skills (customer success management, Google Ads, SEO, account management), as long as you have a working knowledge of Meta that would be the minimum but some experience is preferred to get going fast.

Highly Valued Experience

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Ads experience, specifically lead generation campaigns
  • Google Ads experience (we run Google Ads as well)
  • Customer Success Management or Account Management experience
  • SEO experience with an understanding of the broader search and social marketing ecosystem
  • Marketing, business, IT or finance-related degree
  • Meta Blueprint certifications or other digital marketing certifications
  • Experience with Meta Pixel, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics
  • B2B or local business marketing experience, especially trade businesses
  • Client-facing experience with proven relationship management skills
  • Experience with reporting and data analysis tools
  • Previous agency or consultancy experience

Requirements

  • Ability to respond to communication and action work in a swift time frame between business hours of 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday
  • While there is flexibility with exact work hours, prompt communication and quick turnaround is essential for this role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
