Job Title: Account Manager / Project Manager — Digital Marketing Agency (Remote) HighNote is a boutique Australian digital marketing agency delivering Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, and web development for medium to large sized businesses — primarily in the dental and healthcare sector. We're a lean, remote-first team of specialists. Our Google Ads and SEO are managed by dedicated experts. Our creative team handles ad copy and imagery. Our founder handles new business. What we need is someone who coordinates all of it and owns the client relationship layer. The Role This is a hybrid Account Manager / Project Manager role — and it's a significant one. You'll be the operational quarterback of the agency. You manage client communication, coordinate our specialist contractors, attend client meetings, keep projects moving in Asana, and make sure our founder's attention is reserved for strategy and new business only. What You'll Own → Client communications: professional email responses on behalf of HighNote, keeping clients informed and confident → Meeting attendance: joining monthly client review calls with our Google Ads and SEO specialists, writing summaries and action items within a few hours → Project management: owning Asana — creating tasks, chasing team members, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks → Contractor coordination: first point of contact for our specialist team — Google Ads, SEO, creative, web dev → Automation oversight: keeping our Make.com/Zapier automation stack running using our internal documentation What You Won't Do → Run Google Ads or Meta campaigns → Do SEO work → Write ad copy or design creative → Build automations from scratch Your job is to coordinate the people who do these things What We Need From You Essential: → English as your first language — your written communication must be polished and natural. Non-negotiable. → Minimum 2 years in a digital marketing agency, client-facing → Conceptual knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and SEO — you don't run campaigns but you can speak intelligently about them → Full autonomy in written client communications — confidence and judgment to respond without being directed → Experience coordinating remote contractors or freelancers → Comfortable on video calls with clients → Organised and self-directed — you follow up without being chased → Active AI user — you use Claude, ChatGPT or similar tools daily Strong positive: → Previous experience in an AU or UK agency → Familiarity with Asana, Monday.com or similar PM tools → Experience with Make.com, Zapier or automation tools → Has managed a junior team member or VA previously Working Hours Remote role. Must be online by 10:00–11:00am AEST at the latest through to 5:00–6:00pm AEST. This is a 6–8 hour per day engagement.
