We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Tester / Automation Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through comprehensive testing and automation practices. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify issues, improve software quality, and streamline testing processes. 🎯 Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and software applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution of defects.
Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning activities to ensure testability.
Execute API, database, and performance testing where applicable.
Monitor test results and provide detailed reports on software quality, risks, and release readiness.
Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into development workflows.
Continuously improve testing methodologies, automation strategies, and quality assurance processes.
Stay updated on emerging testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
✅ Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
Experience with manual testing and test case design techniques.
Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar frameworks.
Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or equivalent.
Understanding of APIs, databases, SQL, and web technologies.
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Professional certifications such as ISTQB or automation-related certifications are an advantage.
