Role DescriptionThe Frontend / Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications across both client-side and server-side environments. This role delivers end-to-end software solutions that support business objectives while ensuring exceptional user experience, system reliability, and application scalability.Key responsibilities include developing responsive and interactive frontend interfaces using modern web technologies while translating UI/UX designs into functional, accessible, and cross-browser compatible applications. The role optimizes user interface performance, enhances usability, and ensures compliance with modern web standards and responsive design principles.On the backend, the position designs, develops, and maintains server-side applications, RESTful APIs, databases, authentication services, and business logic that support application functionality. It is responsible for system architecture, data modeling, security implementation, third-party system integration, and performance optimization to ensure reliable and scalable software solutions.The role participates throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement. It performs code reviews, troubleshoots technical issues, enhances system performance, and contributes to CI/CD pipelines and software quality initiatives.Collaboration with product managers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders is essential to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver high-quality applications. The role also contributes to technical documentation, architecture improvements, technology evaluation, and the adoption of software engineering best practices.QualificationsStrong understanding of frontend development, backend development, web application architecture, software engineering principles, and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Ability to build scalable, secure, and maintainable full-stack applications.Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks, backend programming languages, RESTful API development, relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control systems, and modern development frameworks. Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is an advantage.Knowledge of authentication, authorization, application security, system integration, database design, performance optimization, and responsive web design principles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize application performance, and develop efficient software solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, document technical solutions clearly, and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong organizational skills, adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple development tasks while delivering reliable, high-quality software in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
