Business Analyst - IAM / Entra ID - Remote

We’re currently skilled Business Analysts with IAM / Entra ID experience to join a portfolio of exciting transformation initiatives within the higher education sector.

As a Business Analyst, you will lead and support activities such as current and future state analysis, stakeholder engagement, process modelling, requirements elicitation, and contributing to solution design and implementation.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) environments.
• Demonstrated experience documenting current-state business processes, workflows, and system integrations.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access governance processes.
• Experience working with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and/or Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) environments.
• Ability to capture and document business requirements, functional requirements, business rules, and data flows.
• Experience mapping system integrations, user identity sources, and downstream provisioning processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Skilled in conducting discovery workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions.

Experience producing high-quality documentation, including:

• Current-state process maps
• Functional specifications
• Data flow diagrams
• Integration documentation
• Requirements artefacts

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to identify potential process improvement opportunities while maintaining focus on documentation and requirements capture objectives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
• Experience working within enterprise-scale Microsoft technology environments is highly desirable.
• Exposure to large-scale IAM transformation, migration, or modernisation projects would be advantageous.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID capabilities and identity governance features.
• Experience supporting IAM replacement or migration initiatives.
• Familiarity with higher education, government, or large complex organisational environments.

Roles can be worked 'Remotely' from anywhere in Australia and offered as 3 month initial contracts with possible extensions.
