Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and academically driven Academic Research Assistant / Online University Instructor / Academic Advisor to support research activities, facilitate online learning, and provide academic guidance to students. This multifaceted role combines research, teaching, and student support responsibilities to contribute to academic excellence and positive learning outcomes.

The successful candidate will assist with research projects, develop and deliver educational content, evaluate academic performance, and provide guidance that helps students achieve their educational goals. This position requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, organizational abilities, and a passion for education, research, and student development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting academic, scientific, or educational research projects.
• Perform literature reviews, data collection, data analysis, and research documentation.
• Prepare research reports, presentations, summaries, and academic materials.
• Support the development and maintenance of research databases and records.
• Design, prepare, and deliver online lectures, tutorials, and instructional content.
• Facilitate virtual learning environments and encourage student engagement.
• Assess assignments, projects, examinations, and other academic evaluations.
• Provide constructive feedback to support student learning and development.
• Advise students on academic planning, course selection, educational pathways, and learning strategies.
• Monitor student progress and identify opportunities for academic improvement.
• Respond to student inquiries and provide timely academic support.
• Collaborate with faculty members, academic departments, and administrative teams.
• Ensure compliance with academic policies, standards, and institutional guidelines.
• Contribute to curriculum enhancement, instructional improvement, and educational initiatives.
• Stay informed about developments in relevant academic disciplines, teaching methodologies, and educational technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Research, Social Sciences, Business, Humanities, Science, Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced academic qualifications are an advantage.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies, data analysis, and academic writing.
• Knowledge of online learning platforms, virtual classroom technologies, and educational tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
