Investment Analyst/ Financial Analyst

Role Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Investment Analyst / Financial Analyst to support investment evaluation, financial modeling, and business performance analysis. This role is responsible for analyzing financial data, assessing investment opportunities, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making and portfolio management.

The successful candidate will work closely with finance, investment, and business teams to evaluate companies, industries, and market trends. This position requires strong quantitative ability, critical thinking, and the capability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis of companies, industries, and investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and key performance indicators.
• Evaluate investment opportunities using valuation methodologies such as DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
• Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and capital market developments.
• Prepare investment reports, financial summaries, and analytical presentations.
• Support portfolio analysis, performance tracking, and risk assessment activities.
• Assist in due diligence processes and review financial and operational data.
• Identify investment risks, opportunities, and key value drivers.
• Maintain and update financial databases and research documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on investment strategy and decision-making.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic research projects.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data, models, and reports.
• Contribute to improvements in analytical tools, processes, and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with financial modeling and investment analysis is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and generate meaningful insights.
