Role Description

This is a contract, remote role for a Clinical Psychologist. The Clinical Psychologist will provide one-on-one therapeutic counselling focused on improving mental health and assisting clients in overcoming challenges around their relationship with food. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team of nutrition and mental health professionals.

What you'll be doing

• Private virtual consultations managing eating disorders
• GP Management Plan and Team Care Arrangement Referrals
• Multidisciplinary case conferencing for company integration and collaboration as well as external stakeholders
• Participation in chronic disease and preventative health programs
• Content creation to establish strong branding, messaging and outreach for the company

Qualifications & Requirements

• AHPRA registration as a Clinical Psychologist
• Eligibility for Medicare provider status
• Experience in eating disorders and disordered eating patterns
• Telehealth experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effectively educating and motivating the clientele through online portal
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
