This is a remote role, and we’re seeking someone based in the eastern states of Australia — Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne — to work closely with our Perth-based Discovery team. - Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through inbound and outbound activity.
- Build, nurture and manage relationships with prospective clients, partners and referrers.
- Take an educational, consultative approach to understanding client needs, challenges and goals.
- Lead discovery conversations that uncover genuine opportunities and long-term value.
- Align Dilate’s marketing services with client needs, recommending tailored solutions.
- Develop and present proposals and recommendations that clearly communicate value and outcomes.
- Confidently manage negotiations and close new business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, strategy and delivery teams to ensure seamless client handovers.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships that support agency growth and brand presence.
- Represent Dilate in a way that’s professional, values-led and on-brand in every interaction.
You You’re passionate about helping businesses grow and you thrive on building meaningful relationships. You’re commercially minded, confident in conversation, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment — while staying closely connected to a wider team. You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in business development within a marketing / media buying or B2B services environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- A consultative mindset, with strong discovery, negotiation and closing skills.
- The ability to manage multiple opportunities, stakeholders and priorities at once.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Confidence working remotely, with excellent time management and self-direction.
- Permanent Australian residency to enable us to share long term success together.
