Video Editor

Role Description

A Video Editor is responsible for creating, editing, and producing video content that aligns with a company’s brand and marketing objectives. This role focuses on storytelling, visual aesthetics, and technical editing to engage audiences across digital and traditional platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished content for marketing, social media, or internal communications
• Collaborate with creative teams, directors, and marketing teams to deliver video projects on time
• Add visual effects, motion graphics, audio, and subtitles as needed
• Ensure brand consistency, quality, and style across all video content
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Stay updated with the latest video production trends, software, and techniques
• Organize and maintain digital video libraries and archives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field (preferred)
• 1–5 years of experience in video editing or production
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong creative vision, storytelling skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
