Beaumont People are proud to be partnering with FRRR to find three passionate and organised Support Officers to play a vital role in delivering the Future Drought Fund’s Communities Program. About the Program Funded By The Department Of Agriculture, Fisheries And Forestry, The Future Drought Fund’s Communities Program (Stage 3) Empowers Local Organisations To Design And Deliver Projects That Prepare Their Communities For Drought. Grant Streams Include
- Community Impact Grants (up to $150,000)
- Small Network Grants (up to $50,000)
- RDRP Social Outcome Grants (up to $100,000)
- Capability Building and Impact Measurement activities
About the Roles We’re recruiting three Support Officers to join FRRR’s agile, purpose-driven team. Each role will support a different component of the program, including grants administration, stakeholder support, and program coordination. These are full time fixed term positions until March 2029. FRRR office is located in Bendigo, but these positions are remote roles and applicants can be based anywhere in Australia. Key Responsibilities
- Administer and assess grants and project proposals
- Coordinate meetings, documentation, and reporting
- Assist with grant announcements, payments, and acquittals
- Liaise with community organisations and program partners
- Provide support across webinars, reporting, and capability-building
About You You’re a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who enjoys enabling others. You bring:
- Experience in administration, coordination, or grants management
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work remotely and autonomously
- Interest in supporting rural and regional Australia
- Familiarity with community development or not-for-profit environments (highly regarded)
- Being a team player and having a collaborative approach is vital in this environment
