Applications will be accepted from Australian and New Zealand Citizens and Australian Permanent Residents. Our paid internship program runs for 12 weeks between November 2026 - February 2027. Your Future Team Atlassian’s Associate Product Manager (APM) internship program is designed to start growing, creative all-rounders into the next generation of global product leaders. Every APM intern gets to work on projects that are important to Atlassian, like building features for brand new products, brainstorming ideas, and running experiments to improve the customer experience. You’ll get a feel for life as a Product Manager, while also getting a close look into what it’s like to be a full-time member of our APM Program when you graduate. Most importantly, the APM internship is 12 weeks spent doing work with us, as a respected member of the team. Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer and partner interviews to translate insights into action
  • Review technical specs for completeness and accuracy
  • Research and present competitive analyses
  • Identify and communicate new market and product opportunities
  • Design creative solutions to customers’ biggest challenges

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

  • Able to commit to a 12-week full-time (40hrs/week) program from November 2026 - February 2027.
  • Current full-time enrolment in a Bachelors or Masters program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship, graduating by January 2028.
  • Have a passion for building and analysing technology products, customer needs, and market dynamics
  • Have an interest in translating customer insights into meaningful results for our engineering teams
  • Be able to think from multiple perspectives, including our customers and development teams
  • Deep understanding of the value of collaboration and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial experience in any domain
  • An understanding of what constitutes good design, either through design/UI work of your own or working with designers in a team
  • Experience driving decisions in the face of ambiguity and change
