About the Role

We are looking for a talented Account Manager to join our Business Growth and Partnerships team in a full-time remote capacity.

This is not a traditional sales role focused solely on closing deals. As the human face of Wunderbuild for every prospective and newly subscribed client, the Account Manager operates across the full early client lifecycle — from first contact and product demonstration through to subscription confirmation and client handover.

You will be responsible for converting interested leads into committed, long-term subscribers, and for ensuring those clients are set up for lasting success from the very beginning of their journey with the platform. The quality of this role directly influences not only revenue growth but also the long-term retention and satisfaction of our client base.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver compelling, personalised product demonstrations to prospective clients — including builders, construction managers, and their teams — showcasing how Wunderbuild addresses their specific operational challenges.
  • Manage leads from first contact through to confirmed subscription, maintaining consistent and tailored communication throughout the pipeline.
  • Handle product questions, concerns, and objections with professionalism, drawing on deep platform knowledge to guide prospects through their decision-making process.
  • Complete thorough, well-documented client handovers to the Onboarding team at the point of subscription, ensuring continuity and a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline records, demonstration notes, and follow-up actions within our Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Track and report on conversion rates, pipeline health, and demonstration activity to support forecasting and business planning.
  • Contribute market insights and client feedback to regular performance reviews with the Head of Business Growth and Partnerships.
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Training, Onboarding, and Technical Support to ensure prospects receive accurate and timely information at every stage.

What We Are Looking For

  • Communication and Presentation — You are a clear, confident, and engaging communicator. You can adapt your style to suit a builder on the tools or a business owner in the boardroom, and you make complex software feel approachable and relevant.
  • Industry Awareness — An understanding of the residential construction industry — how builders operate, the challenges they face, and the language they use — is highly valued. Familiarity with construction management software or cloud-based platforms is an advantage.
  • Client-First Mindset — You measure your success by client outcomes, not just conversions. You remain genuinely invested in each client's journey well beyond the point of subscription.
  • Organisation and Follow-Through — You manage a busy pipeline with precision. You follow up consistently, keep records accurate, and ensure no lead or client falls through the cracks.
  • Collaborative Approach — You work seamlessly across teams, communicate proactively, and understand that the best client experiences are built through strong internal partnerships.
  • Adaptability — You thrive in a growing, fast-moving company where the product evolves and priorities shift. You bring a positive, solutions-focused energy to every challenge.
  • Educational Background — A tertiary qualification in construction, technology, or business is an advantage, though not essential. Demonstrated performance counts for more.
