Role Description

This is a volunteer remote position for a Volunteer Events Lead. The Volunteer Events Lead will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing events to support the organization’s mission. Day-to-day tasks include developing event plans, coordinating with team members and stakeholders, implementing event marketing strategies, and ensuring smooth execution of events. Additionally, the role may involve engaging with the community, supporting fundraising initiatives, and promoting the organization's values through public outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Strong Event Planning and Event Marketing skills, with the ability to organize and promote events effectively
• Exceptional Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with stakeholders, volunteers, and the community
• Experience in Sales or fundraising, with an ability to collaborate and build relationships
• Passion for advocacy, education, and raising awareness about social issues, particularly relating to sexual violence
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a remote environment
