Role Description

This is a volunteer, remote position for a Director of Finance. The Director of Finance will oversee financial planning and reporting for the organization, develop and maintain budgets, and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations. Key responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing financial records, and supporting strategic initiatives to ensure the organization's financial sustainability. Collaboration with leadership and other volunteer staff will be essential for the success of this role.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Financial Planning and Finance
• Experience in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
• Strong Analytical Skills to assess financial data and contribute to strategic decision-making
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Familiarity with nonprofit or community organization financial management is a plus
• Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field
