Social Media Marketing Specialist

Join a dynamic project focused on elevating the social media presence of charities and local events through engaging Instagram content. This role centers on creating and executing strategies to boost local visibility, engagement, and ticket sales for a variety of community-driven initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the team to shape content deliverables and provide expert guidance on maximizing Instagram’s potential for our campaigns. The position offers ongoing, manageable support work with flexibility to influence creative direction and campaign tactics. Deliverables

• Develop and publish 2 Instagram Reels and 2 posts per week, tailored to local events and charity campaigns
• Design and execute social proof–style carousel posts to highlight event impact and community engagement
• Advise on content strategies to improve Instagram visibility and audience engagement
• Provide light consultation on Instagram ads and promotional tactics
• Collaborate with the team to refine content calendars and campaign objectives
• Monitor and report on post performance, engagement metrics, and campaign outcomes

Requirements

• Proven experience managing Instagram accounts for brands, events, or community organizations
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative content, including Reels, carousels, and static posts
• Up-to-date knowledge of Instagram trends, algorithms, and best practices for organic growth
• Ability to analyze engagement data and adjust strategies for optimal results
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with basic ad setup and promotion on Instagram is a plus
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a consistent posting schedule
• Availability for ongoing, part-time collaboration; remote work is supported
