Together 4 Youth (T4Y) is a collective of youth mental health and wellbeing charities that seeks to improve student wellbeing by lifting provider practice and helping schools make better choices about support

Role purpose

The Community Lead is responsible for building and sustaining an engaged Together 4 Youth member community. The role leads delivery of T4Y’s Community of Practice and member engagement rhythm, helping lift provider practice, strengthen alignment with school needs, and support T4Y’s broader strategy to improve student wellbeing indirectly through better provider capability, coherence and collaboration

Role info: reports to CEO. Expected 8-10 hours per week (2 blocks of 4-5hrs). WFH. BYO Laptop. Contract to end 2026 with opportunity to renew.

Profile

We seek someone who is practical, proactive and delivery-oriented. This is not a strategy or policy role. It will suit someone who takes ownership, working independently and turning plans into action. The right person will be:

• Confident engaging with members, speakers and partners
• Highly organised, reliable and responsive
• Comfortable managing multiple moving parts at once
• Efficient and outcomes-focused
• Practical in their approach, with strong follow through
• Someone who notices what needs doing and gets it done

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Community of Practice program, including topics, formats, speakers, logistics and follow up
• Lead member communications, onboarding, engagement and retention
• Curate member-led facilitation, case studies and peer exchange
• Translate school insight into Community of Practice agendas and practical alignment actions for members
• Support member participation in aggregated reporting through reminders, enablement and troubleshooting
• Manage event logistics and related marketing using HubSpot, Eventbrite and Zoom or Teams
