Why us?

The CEO Magazine is a global brand and premier voice for senior executives, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders. Our high-impact content spans exclusive interviews, C-suite profiles, prestigious awards, curated industry lists, and high-level networking events. More than a publication, we’re a platform for influence and global connection. We’re ambitious, collaborative, and passionate about excellence—and now we’re looking for an exceptional Head of HR to shape our people strategy and drive our next chapter of growth.

As our Head of HR, you’ll be a strategic partner to the leadership team, ensuring our people practices fuel business growth, strengthen our culture, and foster innovation. You’ll oversee every aspect of HR globally—from talent acquisition and performance management to learning, engagement, compliance, and beyond—while championing a workplace where our teams can do their best work.

What you will do:Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the HR team globally, aligning strategies with business goals and company culture.
  • Partner with the Executive Management Team (EMT) to design and execute HR initiatives aligned with our mission, values, and objectives.
  • Drive global HR policy, performance management, and succession planning to support long-term growth.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws in all jurisdictions, mitigating risk and upholding our values.

Talent & Workforce Management

  • Oversee strategic hiring decisions, salary alignment, and role changes in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
  • Collaborate with the Global Recruitment Manager to elevate recruitment processes and candidate experience.
  • Partner with leaders on contractor/freelancer cost management and workforce planning.
  • Set performance KPIs with EMT and regional HR managers, integrating them into review cycles to foster accountability and improvement.

Compensation & Compliance

  • Approve payroll for outsourcing partners, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Review and approve global payroll changes with a strategic focus on cost, fairness, and market competitiveness.
  • Manage executive contract and compensation processes in partnership with local HR managers.

Culture & Engagement

  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
  • Oversee global engagement initiatives and social budgets, aligning them with our culture and strategic priorities.
  • Support employee relations and resolve complex HR matters, excluding executive-level issues.

Operational Excellence

  • Streamline HR processes, automate workflows, and ensure systems enable data-driven decisions.
  • Handle escalations with a solutions-oriented, global perspective.

Who you are:

  • Minimum 3+ years in senior HR leadership (Head of HR or similar), ideally in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments.
  • Degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
  • Global Expertise: Proven success working across multiple regions, with deep knowledge of diverse HR practices and employment laws.
  • Commercial Understanding: Strong experience partnering with Sales teams, ideally in niche or high-touch sectors.
  • Strategic & Hands-On: Ability to shape global HR strategy while executing with precision.
  • People Leader: Skilled at developing high-performing teams and building trust across all levels.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in HRIS platforms, HR analytics, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Culture Builder: Passionate about fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture that engages, inspires, and retains top talent.

What you’ll love:

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a respected global brand.
  • Global exposure working with a passionate, dynamic, and truly international team.
  • Make a real impact on culture, engagement, and performance at a strategic level.
