The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior/ Clinical Trial Manager (CTM/Sr CTM) to join our growing team. As a CTM/Sr CTM at Southern Star, you’ll work in close partnership with the project manager, providing leadership and oversight across all site management and monitoring activities for assigned studies. This role has flexibility to be office based, hybrid or remote, anywhere within Australia. Reporting to a Senior Clinical Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Providing mentoring and training support to CRAs on assigned studies, ensuring effective site management and monitoring
- Oversight of CRA activities including review of monitoring visit reports and TMF compliance
- Leads team meetings and regularly communicates to ensure project deliverables are met and quality standards are maintained
- Supports the project manager with project finance, invoicing and ensures the project team activities are in line with contract scope
- Manages escalations for the quick resolution of any challenges encountered on assigned studies
- Ensures health and compliance across clinical systems
- Prepare and present study updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Ro be successful in the role, we're looking for candidates with
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in the medical, pharmaceutical or healthcare disciplines.
- A minimum of 5 years' clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a lead/CTM role
- The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environment with competing projects and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
