RecSkills is assisting its client in hiring a Human Resources Officer to play a key role in shaping a positive workplace culture, supporting team development, and driving HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with management to identify workforce needs and deliver effective HR strategies.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Develop, review, and maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with Australian labour laws and company standards.
  • Drive initiatives for employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
  • Manage payroll coordination and employee benefits in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees, promoting a respectful, inclusive, and supportive workplace.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and foster a strong, positive company culture.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Australian HR compliance, employment law, and HR best practices.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar HR or People Operations role.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with teams.
