About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions. This remote role offers flexibility in scheduling (part-time or full-time) and is perfect for candidates who are analytical, detail-oriented, and based anywhere in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports
• Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights
• Support budgeting and strategic planning processes
• Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators
• Assist in investment analysis, cost control, and risk assessment
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with financial tools (e.g. Power BI, Xero, QuickBooks, Tableau) is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Must be based in Australia and available to work within AEST/AEDT time zones
