Call Centre Operators – Perth or Melbourne
Our client is seeking 10 Call Centre Operators to join a high-profile government campaign. This is a 10-week contract role with the potential for extension.
📍 Location: Perth or Melbourne
⏳ Duration: 10 weeks (ASAP start)
💻 Work Model: Work from Home (Client will provide laptop)
📅 Rostered Hours: Between 8:00am – 5:00pm AWST, Monday to Friday
About the Role
As a Call Centre Operator, you will respond to enquiries from existing Western Australia–based customers contacting a government agency. A strong focus will be placed on customer reassurance, professionalism, and clarity during first contact, delivering a high-quality triage service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver real-time call answering, ensuring customers are acknowledged and triaged effectively.
- Apply triage protocols consistently, accurately log interactions in Genesys Cloud, and route enquiries to internal teams.
- Uphold compliance and quality standards at all times.
- Adapt responses based on feedback and training requirements.
Required Experience & Skills
- 1–3 years’ experience in a call centre environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to enter accurate call notes.
- Computer literacy and ability to follow structured training protocols.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using Genesys (or another Tier 1 call centre platform).
- Strong customer service mindset, able to provide reassurance and clear communication.
Additional Details
- Candidates must be able to commit to the full 10-week campaign.
- If unable to complete, a minimum one-week notice is required.
